Logo and branding for Vinyl Forces, an independent record reseller known for its deep knowledge and vast collection of vinyl. The logo and illustration translate the brand’s passion for music into bold, kinetic visuals that resonate with collectors and audiophiles alike.
The identity captures the movement and energy of sound itself. The logo uses strong, geometric typography paired with symbolic details: the “O” in “Forces” becomes a vinyl record, while the punched-out silhouette of a tonearm and needle forms a direct visual link to the act of playing music.
Complementing the logo, a custom airplane illustration shows records being released mid-flight — a metaphor for how music travels, connects people, and endures through generations. Together, the mark and illustration express a collector’s passion — a “force” that keeps analog sound alive.
Design Concept
The color palette of deep teal, crimson red, olive green, and warm beige reflects the tactile quality of record sleeves and the nostalgic warmth of analog sound. Each tone was chosen for its contrast and collectibility, ensuring the brand feels both classic and adaptable across merchandise, business cards, and digital applications.
