Label Design | Materia Prima

This concept explores label designs for Mercado Materia Prima, a proposed farmers-market brand inspired by the sensory experience of traditional mercados — vibrant produce, handcrafted goods, and honest flavors.

The series includes Tomato Chutney, Mushroom Marmalade, and Curry Sauce. Each label balances artisanal warmth with clean structure.

A textured stripe along the bottom of each label was created from visual studies of the main ingredients — the fibrous skin of tomatoes, the earthy surface of mushrooms, and the layered richness of curry spices — grounding the design in its source.
Developed as an internal exploration for Grupo Cinco Sentidos, this project celebrates food design as storytelling.
